Introducing the 2026 committee

We are excited to announce that following our recent Annual General Meeting (AGM), a new committee has been voted in to lead the Gisborne Community Care Foodbank.

Leading the way is our new President, Tony Woodhouse. Tony’s deep history with the foodbank—including his previous stint as Treasurer—makes him the perfect fit for the role. Supporting him is our new Vice President, Robin Jeffs, who has been a pillar of our volunteer team for years. We are also grateful to Sharon Tolhouse for stepping up into the Secretary position, and to Mandy Dettmann, who remains our steadfast Treasurer.

This entire committee is made up of volunteers who donate their time and energy every single week. Their commitment is the backbone of everything we do. We are very grateful for the service they give to the Foodbank and the community.
